Multicultural Event Draws Eager Korean, Japanese and Hispanic Attendees
Coppell, TX, November 21, 2008 - Mannatech, Incorporated (NASDAQ - MTEX), a leading developer and provider of dietary supplements and skin care solutions, hosted its Los Angeles Regional Event Nov. 14-15, with local independent sales Associates and business-builders in attendance. To accommodate the diverse population of the region, presentations were translated into Korean, Japanese and Spanish.

The event featured business building meetings on timely topics such as how to build your business during a time of recession. Wayne Badovinus provided a company overview and shared business strategies. Al Bala, senior vice president of global business development, provided tips for streamlining global business building. Additionally, Korean Platinum Presidential Soo Kyung Kim presented an opportunity meeting to Korean attendees.
Dr. Steve Nugent, executive director of complementary health and education at Mannatech, was also in attendance to provide information on the launch of the company’s new fat-loss product OsoLean™ powder. In addition, Team Mannatech members Justin Silver, a former professional baseball pitcher and Brittany Albrecht, a former soccer player turned bodybuilder, spoke about healthy lifestyles and fitness at the event.
