Mannatech Hosts 10th Annual Australasian Convention
Celebration included launch of business building tools, Associate recognition and fireworks display
Coppell, TX, October 30, 2008 - Mannatech, Incorporated (NASDAQ - MTEX), a leading developer and provider of dietary supplements and skin care solutions, hosted its Australasian Convention Oct. 23-26, marking the event’s 10th anniversary with more than 900 independent sales Associates and business-builders in attendance.
The “Care & Connect” themed event featured the introduction of the new Go/Empower Business Tool, a one-stop-shop for business building tools and leadership development workshops. Dr. Steve Nugent, executive director of complementary health and education at Mannatech, was also in attendance to provide information on the launch of the company’s new fat-loss product OsoLean™ whey protein supplement. In addition, a special 10-year anniversary award ceremony took place, honoring the leaders and founding members of Mannatech’s Australasian operations.

The anniversary celebration came to a head at Carnivale’ Fun Night, a costume party for attendees featuring games, music, a balloon drop and a fireworks show. The excitement continued when Team Mannatech member and Paralympics athlete Don Elgin delivered a motivational speech and was joined by several other Team Mannatech athletes to discuss tips for maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
